MG66 is a band born in 2007.

Their music is a mixture of violent and groovy lines, which the band calls “Thrash N’ Roll”.

The name comes from both “MG42” the lethal machine gun developed by Germany during WWII, and the legendary “Route 66”, the American road that represents freedom and the lifestyle “on the road”.

The name recalls the dual soul of the band which mixes violence and rock n’ roll attitude. In 2008 MG66 publish their first full-length album “In the House Of Liv” recorded and produced with Mauro Andreolli.

In 2008 they sign a management agreement with Alkemist-Fanatix Europe.

Gli MG66 sono una band nata nel 2007.

La musica proposta dagli MG66 è un mix di sonorità violente e cariche di groove che la band definisce come “Thrash n’ Roll”.

Il nome MG66 deriva dalla fusione dell’MG42, una letale mitragliatrice usata dai tedeschi nella seconda guerra mondiale econ la leggendaria Route 66 da sempre simbolo di libertà e vita “on the road”.

Il nome vuole richiamare la duplice anima del gruppo che mischia violenza e attitudine rock n’roll.

Nel 2008 gli MG66 pubblicano il loro primo full length album “In the House Of Liv” registrato e prodotto con Mauro Andreolli.

Successivamente all’uscita del disco la band firma un contratto di mangement con Alkemist-Fanatix Europe
